Quantum Computing

Quantum computing harnesses the principles of quantum superposition and entanglement for information processing, aiming to solve specific problems that are intractable for classical computers. Core topics include quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, etc.), quantum error-correcting codes, physical implementations of qubits (superconducting, trapped-ion, topological qubits, etc.), quantum computational complexity theory, and experimental verification of quantum advantage. The field deeply intersects with quantum information, condensed matter physics, and computer science, and is one of the most transformative frontier technologies of our time.
