Computación Cuántica

La computación cuántica aprovecha los principios de superposición y entrelazamiento cuánticos para el procesamiento de información, con el objetivo de resolver problemas específicos intratables para las computadoras clásicas. Los temas centrales incluyen algoritmos cuánticos (Shor, Grover, etc.), códigos cuánticos de corrección de errores, implementaciones físicas de qubits (superconductores, iones atrapados, qubits topológicos, etc.), teoría de la complejidad computacional cuántica y verificación experimental de la ventaja cuántica. El campo se cruza profundamente con la información cuántica, la física de la materia condensada y la informática, y es una de las tecnologías fronterizas más transformadoras de nuestra época.
