Central Academy of Fine Arts

School of Chinese Painting, Department of Landscape Painting (Bachelor's)

China · Bachelor's

The Department of Landscape Painting at the School of Chinese Painting, Central Academy of Fine Arts, is a benchmark institution for higher education in Chinese landscape painting. It is renowned for its systematic tripartite teaching framework of copying, sketching from nature, and creation, cultivating Chinese painting talents with deep traditional foundations and strong creative capabilities.

学术历史

The predecessor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the National Beijing Art School, was established in 1918 as China's first national art education institution. The Chinese painting department was established at the school's founding and was built upon the foundations laid by masters such as Xu Beihong and Jiang Zhaoh. Landscape painting as an independent departmental direction gradually developed its teaching system after the reform and opening-up period. Contemporary landscape painters such as Chen Ping and Qiu Ting have taught here for extended periods, forming a teaching tradition that combines the grandeur of the northern school of landscape painting with rigorous academic training.

当前状态
